Question

Can I use Docklight to talk a network device using a TCP or UDP-based communication?

Applies to: Docklight / Docklight Scripting (all versions)

Answer

Docklight is limited to serial COM connections, but our extended Docklight Scripting software can establish TCP connections (TCP client mode), accept a TCP connection on a local port (TCP server mode), or act as a UDP peer.
