For creating larger scripts, the built-in script editor is not really convenient. How can I use advanced editing features
like syntax highlighting or use an external source code editor instead?
Applies to:
Docklight Scripting V1.9
Answer
Docklight Scripting supports now external source code editors like SciTE or Notepad++. Please see the Docklight Scripting
User Manual for details. We highly appreciate any feedback on this new fature - if you find a smart configuration file for
your favorite editor, or you are experiencing problems using the External Editor mode, we would be happy to hear about it.
