Troubleshooting Article ID dl_prb019

Issue

I cannot get Docklight to work with my EXSYS serial extension with Oxford UART.

Applies to: Docklight / Docklight Scripting (all versions)

Solution

We received a problem report for Docklight V1.7 and an EXSYS-1361 RS422/485 PCMCIA extension card. The problem could be resolved by installing updated drivers for this product. Always check if you are using up-to-date drivers for you communication device. NOTE: Installing a driver update can severely influence your PC's stability. Make sure that you are able to undo any driver installation, e.g. by setting a "Windows System Restore Point"!
